Quince

It is an autumn fruit that in times past was known as the golden apple or as the fruit of love and fertility. It is characterized by its peculiar yellow color and captivating aroma. It is a pome fruit like pears and apples and made up of a very resistant, aromatic and refreshing pulp. Its hardness allows it to be marketed during the fall and part of the winter. It has traditionally been present in cooking recipes due to its contribution of textures and flavors.
